Hotel Riu Chiclana - All Inclusive

Pros: Despite the size of the place there were no queues for anything, plenty of sunbeds, it was a beautiful location.

Cons: Some wine glasses we bought with us were taken from our room and were not returned despite asking several times. The big party of the Friday night is not well advertised until you get there.

Pros: Overall a really nice hotel, the food was excellent, the staff lovely and the rooms decent. Everything was clean and well thought through. The beach was amazing but had alot of steps down . The hotel needed to provide sunbeds and a beach bar on the beach to make it even better.

Cons: The reception was bedlam and gave a shocking first impression. We both wondered if we had made a mistake. There simply weren't enough check in desks or staff on to cope.

Pros: Everything was great ,the pools,the food ,the location all 100 per cent

Cons: - Entertainment could be better - Limited food intolerance options - bread/pasta/desserts - Very thin poolside towels

Great family hotel

Pros: Fantastic family orientated hotel. Plenty to do for the children. Good food choices Excellent parking facilities

Cons: Our air con was very loud. But we had a large ceiling fan.

Magical, relaxing and so much fun!

Pros: Everything, from the cleanliness, the food, to the facilities, the entertainment and the friendly staff. The animation staff were excellent at keeping us and the kids entertained. And for times where there wasn’t much going on, there were so many pools to choose from for some relaxation in the sun. Plenty of sunbeds , no need to wake up at silly oclock for sunbed wars. Outdoor ball pit softplay area to keep the kids entertained when it was clouded over or too cool for a swim. So much greenery, made our stay all the more relaxing and made for some awesome photo opportunities. And lets not forget the #riuparty whit party - such a fun night for guest of all ages. We danced the night away, our 5 year old especially had a BLAST! Last but defo not least, the food was absolutely delicious. This was our 2nd summer trip there consecutively, and i am sure we will be back next summer!

Cons: The only negative for me was the mattress being a bit too hard for my comfort, but that is just because i prefer something softer. The fact it was peacefully quiet indoors and you could completely black out the room with the curtains more than made up for it though, as i still managed to sleep well!

We will definitely be back to this hotel

Pros: We’ve stayed here befor and it’s a lovely hotel, very big but no ques for breakfast or dinner , the pool bar was a continuous que but moved quickly , it’s spotlessly clean and the Rui chain are always superb , we stay in them all around the world when we can . This hotel is definitely worth a stay your love it . Easy parking great rooms and AMAZING sunset down the beach 👌👌

Cons: Our rooms air con wasn’t working and was really noisy, we told reception and the half fixed it , it was cooler but still very noisy

Pros: We’ve been several times - great hotel for a short stay, especially if you have kids

Excellent value for money. Would do it again.

Pros: Excellent location, value for money, fun and positive atmosphere, polite staff, beautiful weather.

Cons: It was harder to get by as an English speaker with broken Spanish. Lack of directions to our room. No lifts to upper floors. I had mild food poisoning after the first night. Luckily I recovered quickly, but this could've soured the entire trip. The food (particularly in Gatitana) was very average for dinner. The other restaurants were far superior.

Pros: Facilities in general. Food was, in the majority, great with a wide variety of choice.

Cons: Some of the food in the Italian themed restaurant.
