Hotel Tugasa Villa de Algar

Escape in March.

Pros: Very nice dining room. Very good cuisine and wines. Local produce: venison and Iberico pork very nicely cooked. Breakfast very nice and plentiful.

Cons: The weather was very fresh! The room heater worked perfectly.

Pros: Wonderful welcome from Juan when we arrived about 10pm, The restaurant was still open so it was good to be able to get a bite to eat. Room had a king-size bed with a firm mattress, wonderful bliss. Staff were extremely helpful.

Cons: Hotel was a little more remote than expected but it had everything we needed onsite.

Pros: Staff were friendly and relaxed. Pool was nice. Good central location to Algar

Cons: The AC didn’t work. The exit light in the room was illuminated which was annoying when trying to sleep.

Lovely stay with great food.

Pros: Second stay in a Tugasa hotel in a week. Both very good. This one had excellent staff, easy parking and the restaurant was very good. The friendly village is worth the short walk. Great spending time around the pool on a hot day.

Cons: Bathroom needs a little updating but well worth the money.

Pros: Hotel interior nicely in local style. Excellent regional food for lunch/ dinner. Spacious free parking.

Weekend get away

Pros: The location and character of the hotel was good, staff excellent, had a meal in the restaurant and it was very enjoyable, liked the outdoor kitchen/BBQ area. The pool area very well maintained and the pool well cared for. Room clean and bed excellent, plenty of hot water. A quiet hotel in a very peaceful Pueblo, felt very comfortable with the locals, walking a short distance to various bars, and shops.

Cons: The hotel has a policy of not leaving towels on sun loungers, and going for several hours, this was not enforced, several days 20 or more loungers with towels over and no people there, ensuring no loungers available for any new guests, always from 13.30 to16.30 on average, this made the pool area un usable if you wanted to relax.

Lovely, peaceful and would stay again!

Pros: The hotel was very lovely to stay in. The rooms were adequately sized with a lovely balcony to enjoy scenic countryside views. The bathroom was very nice, I was very impressed with the shower pressure. The check-in process was nice and easier and the little village it is located in was lovely and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

Cons: The only negative I could point out is that the hotel restaurant didn't open until 9pm. Which was quite late to eat in my opinion. However understand this may not bother other people.

Pleasant and quiet countryside hotel

Pros: This is the third Tugasa hotel we stayed. it didn't disappoint us .Hotel is located in a village with very nice happy and friendly people. it was 250 anniversary of the establishment of the village the day we arrived. hotel Tugasa has its own restaurant who supplies very good food with very reasonable price and high qlty. Jose is very helpful to give us information about the village when we arrived late and missed lunch because it is full due to holiday. we had supper there as we really want to have a try (see the photos).we would love to stay there again when we come to Andalucia next time.

Pros: Management of the hotel was very helpfull to my questions and requests.
