A great stay in Acros de la Fonterra

Pros: The staff were so helpful and polite , the location is ideal for visiting Acros , We parked at the sister hotel and walked up . The terrace room was fab because we could sit outside and enjoy the view . What a view . The room was comfy and clean but 50 L of water is not quite enough for a bath the only down side but certainly not a problem . There is no kettle in the room but you can tea or coffee delivered to your room . We loved the place and the people ,ate at Aljibe restaurant and it was excellent . Breakfast is available .

PERFECT STAY

Pros: The Hotel has a fabulous location on the edge looking over th Valley,incredible 180 degree views.our room had a terrace,the Hotel also has a wonderful terrace where we enjoyed drinks We were met with a wonderful warm reception when we arrived,,the young lady was extremely helpful,checked us in,showed us our rooms,prepared drinks and breakfast,wonderful service!!! Our room was spotless,spacious with a wonderful terrace,it was perfect

Pros: The view from the room was beautiful. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Cons: The room itself was quite small, so it was lovely to have the balcony space to enjoy. Unfortunately the wi-fi in our room was frustratingly slow and pretty much of no use at all - this was a little disappointing. Thankfully wi-fi in the dining area was reasonable and staff were very kind and helped us translate the bus timetable.

Pros: The hotel is near the centre of the upper town's pedestrian zone, handy for several local eateries. Our room terrace gave great views over the landscape. As I had temporary mobility issues, we were given a ground floor room with an ideal bathroom and the staff were very helpful. Private parking is available with the sister hotel in the lower town, which worked well for us as we stayed in the upper town for our 2 nights there.

It was a great experience overall :)

Pros: Location is super nice and it has a great terrace in the room, additionally you can have an amazing breakfast!

Cons: Be mindful of the fact that you need to go on top with many many stairs. If you have a huge suitcase it might be an issue.

Visit to Arcos de la Frontera

Pros: Staff went over and above to help during our stay, they helped us find the times of buses for our return and the securely stored our luggage when we checked out. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is in a great location.

Pros: The hotel was well located to bars, cafes and restaurants. Everything was within walking distance in the old town. Our room was very clean and comfortable with an amazing view from our terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for where to go and what to see. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Cons: A word of caution, don’t trust google maps to guide you walking to the hotel from the bus station if no taxi is available. It took us in the completely wrong direction on a very hot day. What was supposed to be a 15 minute walk took us 2 hours. Luckily Irini from the hotel sent a taxi to pick us up.

Pros: We liked the view from our balcony. The sheets and beds were very comfortable and the rooms a good size. It was in a great location. Staff friendly and helpful

Cons: We would of liked a kettle to make tea and coffee and a small fridge

Great choice in Arcos

Pros: Great location, large comfortable room with stunning views from the private terrace. Welcoming and friendly staff who were very obliging. Central for everything, simple breakfast but the view is everything!

An absolute charm.

Pros: 2nd time staying at this hotel. It's one of our favourite places to have stayed in Spain. A bit of old school charm, Fantastic terraces and views and it's location is wonderful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The price is good as well and the view and location would often cost more.
