Beautiful Villa peaceful setting great place you stay

Pros: Stunning property Nice pool, friendly staff, really lovely bedroom very comfortable, fantastic breakfast, close to autovia

Great location, disappointing facilities.

Pros: The hacienda and the gardens. Comfortable and bed in a large room with a great view. Great little plunge pool. Really helpful staff.

Cons: Poor management. Under staffed. Poor facilities. No hot water Ladies toilet not functional in the reception/ bar area.

Excellent couple's getaway

Pros: Wonderfully peaceful setting with fabulous staff. The manager, Azber, treated us like family, and we are most grateful for his hospitality. Would definitely recommend!

Cons: I would really have appreciated a fridge in the room.

Lovely hotel, charming, quiet, just a few comments to make it 10/10.

Pros: Lovely hotel in a quiet area. The pool was great, maybe could do with some umbrellas for shade. The greek lady at reception was lovely, very helpful and cheerful. Spotless hotel, quite old fashioned furniture, but we liked that.

Cons: A fridge in the room to put cold drinks in there. Towels for the pool area Its quite a walk to the local restaurant, and a few were closed Sunday’s and Monday’s. Leaving only 1 restaurant available if you didn’t have a car. We were there in June and its very very hot in this area of Andalucia.

Pros: For the moment Hacienda el Santiscal is peaceful and an oasis away from the creeping holiday development along the edge of the lake. The views from our room were lovely. It's a beautiful courtyard Hacienda retaining a personal family feel. Lovely sitting room for relaxation. Beautiful flowering plants and trees surrounding the property. We stayed immediately after the DANA so the weather was not brilliant. Pool too chilly for us but it looks lovely when warmer. Lovely breakfasts and very helpful friendly staff.

Cons: The bed was not comfy for my back . Very hard. We thought we'd booked a twin bedroom (the photos showed it to be this) with sitting room. There was no way to make the bed softer it seemed. This has been our experience throughout Spain though in independent smaller hotels.

Rural small quirky roomed hacienda - beautiful views

Pros: Small family owned hacienda with beautiful rural views . Individually styled rooms - we shared a private staircase to two rooms with lovely seating area for four of us . Fridge with water very welcome ! Nice breakfast in conservatory style room overlooking small pool / all very lovely. No dinner provided as such - offer of cheese/ meats and wine to avoid travelling to Arcos for dinner - much appreciated . Central patio area with table and chairs nice for drinks / coffee

Pros: The location is excellent for a quiet, relaxing get away but close enough to the town of Arcos.

Beautiful and quiet place to relax.

Pros: Great location for relaxation. Beautiful quiet place. The garden with the pool was magical. There is a beautiful view from the garden. Even though there were guests, no one disturbed anyone. The staff was very pleasant. We didn't mind that he doesn't speak English very well. Ideal for relaxation, a place where you can hide and relax in silence.

marvelous stay for one or two nights

Pros: I had a wonderful room with terrace, it was quiet and relaxing and the sunset from the terrace was impressive - friendly service and a superb breakfast.

Cons: the pool area seems a bit to hot for me snd the pool itself a little bit too small.
