Well placed for exploring Sanlucar

Pros: It is a beautiful old building and well placed for exploring the town. Nice and efficient staff.

Cons: We have stayed twice there some years ago and it was brilliant. We had taken 30 friends and family for a celebration weekend, so returned for some memories. Unfortunately it has had the soul and atmosphere taken out of it as there is no longer a bar or anywhere to sit and relax in the beautiful old hall. Very Functional but such a shame that you can’t come in from the town and relax with a coffee or drink.

Pros: Spacious, comfortable and good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good value

Cons: Nothing much, could do with some comfy chairs here and there

Excellent hotel. well located. About 5 min walk to the main San Lucre hospitality area.

Pros: Hotel is a refurbished old building. They have retained many of the original features and finishes. Very nicely presented. Room and service areas are spacious and open with great character. Best bathroom we have seen in this class of hotel.

Cons: Like everything about this hotel. However it poured with rain one night and we noticed a small leak in the roof in reception area. also google maps brings you through back streets rather than via the main road to this hotel for I know not what reason.

Great for our short stay.

Fab historic hotel great facilities & staff

Pros: Very spacious & comfortable, well appointed room - refurbished but in keeping with history of the building: with ultra modern beautiful bathroom. The building itself is an historical gem. Attentive, courteous, helpful staff. Parking on site. A slight issue with WiFi connectivity rectified very speedily. Nice sunny pool. Excellent breakfast. Good location for strolling to Bodegas for sherry tasting, the city centre & beach promenade to see the amazing sunset.

Cons: All was perfect

Classical tastefully restored historical building. Parador like.

Pros: The location was great for the old town and all the bars and restaurants

Cons: It’s quite a walk to the beach and waterfront restaurants about 25 min but if you have bikes it’s about 5 minutes. The hotel was lovely - an old merchants house and warehouse and the bedrooms were spacious with high ceilings and beams . The bathrooms were also very spacious . My only criticism was that we visited in early October and it had the feeling of being out of season. The bar was closed and the lounge area was devoid of furniture. Still it was great and good value for money

Great location, value for money and recommended.

Pros: Great location. Friendly and professional staff. Good facilities and parking was a bonus. We had a private deck for sunbathing and sitting out - a bonus!!!

Cons: Coffee was via a coffee machine in the dining area which had to be switched on by staff. They were very accommodating but we would have preferred a kettle in the room.

Pros: The room was big with plenty fo storage space and a big bed! Despite the heat wave the hotel was nice and cool with tthe rooms surrounding a larga patio. Having a small swimming pool was also a bonus.

Cons: Do not have any.

Pros: A very interesting building, restored inside to a high standard.

Cons: A comfortable chair in the bedroom would have been very helpful. We like to relax in our room sometimes and sitting on the bed is not good for bad backs! Only other negative point was the rather scruffy area in front of the hotel.
