Carnival in Cadiz

Pros: Great location, staff were really friendly and welcoming. It was the first time I ever stayed with a shared bathroom but it was fine as there were 4 bathrooms for 12 rooms. Even though it was central, the double doors on windows made it nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Mattress was a little firm for me, but this was all.

Great location and value for money

Pros: The location was excellent: right in the old town with everything you need a short walk away and very near the train and bus station so very convenient if you're planning excursions beyond Cadiz. The rooms are small and rather spartan, but functional and considering the price good value. The people running the place are communicative and very friendly and helpful. There is a small shared TV room / kitchen with fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave, so you can have breakfast or light meals. I would stay here again.

Cons: Bathrooms are shared but they are kept very clean. There is a wash basin in the rooms, but this has only cold water. I didn't find this a problem , but some may. Internet connection was sometimes patchy.

A good value for the money

Pros: Very well situated, close to everything. Lots of things to see close by and loads of restaurants and bars. The heater worked well and the room was warm.

Pros: Location, friendly and helpful staff (thank you for the local map!), cleanliness, well-equipped common room. A cheaper parking spot nearby (Parking muelle pesquero en Cadiz - EUR10/24h)

Comfortable and well located pension

Pros: It is wonderfully located, pretty close to the train station, city center and other attractions. Easy to walk from there to any place in the city.

Cons: Since it is located in a busy and lively neighbourhood, it could be noisy during the night, specially if your room face the street. But just a detail, still a great location.
