Nice apartment in a lovely building.
Pros: I first stayed here about 15 years ago (I think) and it was a lovely building and apartment with one drawback- the furniture wasn’t great. Now there’s been a makeover with new (IKEA?) furniture.
Cons: I found the bed wasn’t firm enough, but that may be just me..

Pros: The location was ideal, close to restaurants and a Dia supermarket was two minutes away for essentials. The kitchen was well equipped. The main bedroom was fine with a wardrobe and a mirror and two bedside lights. The bathroom ok and the shower was great. The building was full of character.
Cons: The second bedroom was ok, but there were no facilities for hanging clothes, just a shelves and drawers. Even a peg behind the door would have helped. There was only one socket which was a bit inconvenient. Also it was rather warm and the Aircon unit, is in the corridor so we left the door ajar. Ok for September , but tricky in the height of summer. In the whole, good for a couple of nights.

Enjoyable stay in the lovely town of El Puerto de Santa Maria
Pros: Excellent location to walk to the bars and restaurants at night in the old town as well as walking distance from the train station. Had a superior room, which was clean and comfortable, although the appt was missing a kettle and some wine glasses. There are a few sunloungers on the roof terrace for relaxing as well as a large area for drying clothes.
Cons: There was no natural.daylight as we had an interior room, so we needed to have the lights on most of the time as the rooms were dark, but we knew this before we booked.

Great place to stay
Pros: The hotel is in the centre of the old part of town, surrounded by bars and restaurants, and just a few minutes walk to the ferry to Cadiz. It is exceptionally clean, with everything necessary provided. It also has a rooftop terrace, with a few sunbeds etc for relaxing. A very pleasant place to stay.
Cons: Nothing really

Highly recommend
Pros: A beautiful building, obviously renovated with care and attention to the original features. We loved the roof terrace, so nice to take a glass of wine up there and relax! It's in the perfect central location, the street is busy with locals in the day but lovely and quiet at night, bars and restaurants are a couple of minutes walk away. The cleanest apartment we have ever stayed in, absolutely spotless! Spacious, modern and finished to a good standard, a wonderful home for our time on holiday. The gentleman at reception was so helpful and gave us some great recommendations.
Cons: There are a couple of apartments that have the large windows and high ceilings shown in photos but some onle have windows facing the courtyard and lower ceilings, we found the apartment lacked a little in natural light. No non-stick frying pans, cleaning them was hard work and could of done with a larger one as there is no grill or oven. An iron and board would make a welcome addition too.

Pros: This is a stunning restoration job, in particular the facade is lovely. Next door is a great restaurant where we had breakfast every day and just beyond that, the market with a variety of choices. The check in was great, and the young man was very informative and enthusiastic about the things to see and do. Beds were very comfortable and the maid service an unexpected bonus. We mostly used Puerto as a base to visit Cadiz and we had a great stay.
Cons: Our ground floor room was quite dark, and next to the lift, so noisy at times. I understand this is a feature of patio style buildings and our room was the cheapest option so no cause for complaint.
