We would have no hesitation in recommending this property

Pros: Perfect location for exploring the area , beautiful apartment, clean and everything you need for cooking and lovely roof terrace… best place I’ve ever stayed in Spain

Cons: Nothing at all.. host kept us informed and every aspect from checking in to out went smoothly

Pros: Great location in centre of Cadiz, a few minutes walk to the Cathedral and the market. Very clean and well equipped comfortable apartment. Great to have access to the roof terrace with the view of the cathedral to relax and sunbathe . We also used the washing machine and could dry our clothes up there.

Wonderful city to explore

Pros: The apartment was really nice, every detail taken well care of. Javier welcomed me in person, showed the basics, and gave some good tips for my stay. Location is perfect: close to cathedral, shops, market place and cafes, restaurants.

Cons: I stayed on the first floor, on the alley side. The windows are like ”paper”, you can hear everything from the alley below, people’s noice is ok, but the nightly collecting of trashes by a small lorry, and the alleys cleaning machine noice at about 2 a.m. keeps you awake. I know there is not much to do about it, but if you are sensitive to noices, this is good to know. Earplugs did not help.

Pros: Location, short walk to Catedral, Central Market and Bar.

Pros: A wonderful modern, spotlessly clean apartment in a great location. So lovely to have the terrace for breakfast or an early evening drink. Highly recommended.

Cons: As the apartment was in a bustling lively street, it was quite noisy during the night when the rubbish was collected, lots of loud voices. This didn't put us off the apartment though.

Pros: A very pleasant, clean and spacious flat, definitely recommendable.

Cons: Nothing to complain!

Pros: The facilities especially the rooftop, washing machine & dryer. Very useful when coming from the beach. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Cadiz is fascinating and the apartment was a terrific base.

Pros: Great location, near the central market and the cathedral. Modern and comfortable flat with a lift. Full kitchen with everything you could want. A laundry room and a lovely roof terrace. And Netflix!.

Cons: There was hardly any natural light. Like many Cadiz buildings the rooms are built around an internal light-well.

Clean, modern, comfortable and centrally located

Pros: This apartment is in a fairly recently renovated building with other apartments, no more than a 100 metres from the old main cathedral in the old town area. It is largely one long room with a large double bed at one end and a kitchen at the other with high bench seating, with a settee dividing the two areas. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Excellent laundry facilities were available on the top floor. The bathroom/toilet is a separate room. The central market is nearby, along with a Carrefour Express, and museums and galleries are all within easy walking distance on cobbled streets. Cadiz is an ancient city with so much to explore, and this location was great from which to do that.

Cons: We were in Apt 1A which fronts onto the street, and which, unbeknown to us prior to arrival, has a handicapped shower arrangement where water splashes everywhere despite our attempts to try to prevent it. It's completely open to the rest of the bathroom. We are fit and able people who did not need or request this option, and given we were there for a week, this aspect really spoilt our stay. The occasional old drain smell that presented itself was not pleasant either. Cadiz had a rather cold, rainy week and we could not raise the heating temperature above about 20C despite our efforts with the thermostat controls. Streets are very narrow in old Cadiz, and extremely noisy during Carnival which the small balcony door glazing did not fully block out.

Three nights in Cadiz

Pros: Newly furnished property. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Close to Catederal square and a short walk to everything. Hosts responded quickly and were very helpful when we needed to organise transport.
