Planeta Cadiz Hostel

Pros: The perfect hostel : in the center of the city, clean, adorable personnel and volunteers, very well organized, large, big rooftop terrace. Space to keep bycicles. Excellent price for the quality of the hostel ! There is one bathroom per room, very clean and convenient. Highly recommend, one of the best hostels I have stayed in.

Beautiful building, well managed, excellent facilities, warm friendly staff

Pros: It is a beautiful, clean building, everything you could need is available. The room was clean, well equipped, warm, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and informative. The WiFi was great. The upstairs terrace/bar is lovely. Excellent value for money

Pros: The hostel interior itself is beautifully ornate, resplendent in white with lush, green overhanging plants. The dorms have high ceilings and include an en-suite bathroom. The beds are large and securely fastened to the walls with minimum movement, and with curtains for extra privacy. The light and power point were fully functional. The atmosphere in the dorms is quiet and respectful. The location is fabulous, right in the old town of Cadiz and a 15 minute walk to the beach through narrow, atmospheric streets. The kitchen is large, clean and reasonably stocked and leads out into a beautiful rooftop terrace. The staff were friendly and professional. A joy to deal with.

Pros: Lovely building, great location, nice staff. Breakfast on the terrace was superb and great value

Cons: There was a group making a lot of noise between 11 and 12pm.

Modern, Spacious, Clean and central

Pros: Modern, clean and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped and location was very central in the laines of Cadiz beautiful old town.

If you can handle the noise factor, a brilliant place to stay in this lovely town

Pros: A beautiful building that is kept spotlessly clean on a daily basis. Location is excellent, close to old town spots, eats and coffees, and beaches. Fantastic, friendly and helpful staff, the day managers speak excellent English. Great value for money.

Cons: It can get very noisy particularly if you are a street facing room, all hours. Light sleepers be warned. I had some bad luck also with some folks who snored like bears...not the hostels fault of course, but with 24/7 ambient noise I didnt get much sleep.

Pros: Great location, and lovely rooftop to chill and eat/drink. Kitchen pretty well stocked, but bring your own oil.

Cons: Refrigerator froze my food, no bags for the bins in the kitchen one morning, 10 bed dorm smelled so strongly of bleach my eyes burned. 4 bed dorm was lovely (I had to switch upon extending).

Amazing location, room, terrace and staff!

Pros: Amazing staff, room clean, confortable bed, big locker, beautiful place, amazing terrasse, perfect location. Thanks for this experience. Will come back to the hostal when traveling to Cadiz!
