BEAUTIFUL LITTLE HOUSE

Pros: This little house is lovely, very quirky and spotlessly clean and in a fabulous location. The host is very helpful and obliging

Cons: As we are both 60+ the spiral staircase was an issue

Pros: Great location. Size and comfort of bedroom and bed. Roof garden was perfect

Pros: I really loved this place in a central and busy location in the heart of the Old town. The house is super charming but the many stairs are no joke! The last flight of stairs leading up to the terrace are also very steep. I walk a lot but still got sore muscles 😄 So this is no place for people who struggle with stairs or have Vertigo. Just missed a few small things like for example oven mittens. It is such a unique place and I plan to come back soon.

Pros: beautifullu decorated. definitely quirky fantastic location We decided not to stay in this apartment but used it to rest and recover from morning activities

Lovely unique house in the heart of old Cádiz

Pros: This is a unique and beautiful old house in the heart of old Cádiz. It has beautiful views from the roof terrace and is comfortably furnished. We loved the fact that it was quite quirky! The host was really helpful and check in was easy. The only thing to be aware of when booking are the stairs - all the rooms are connected by a spiral staircase. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was good value for money.

Wonderfully unique stay

Pros: Wonderfully quirky and unique house in the lively Populo district, lovely rooftop with cathedral views and kind and responsive host. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this special place! True to its name, every thoughtfully decorated room of the vertical house is on a different floor connected with spiral staircases

Cons: Not relevant for me, but his place would not be suitable for people who have trouble walking stairs or small children

For us this was a perfect match and was a big part of our most lovely two weeks in Cadiz.

Pros: One of the most personal apartments we’ve stayed. The city of Cadiz felt very charming and this place was a perfect pair to it, great central location and great rooftop patio. Only word of caution is that this place has five stories so you need to walk a lot of stairs on your stay. We stayed for few weeks and would definately stay again.

Cons: There’s a quite joyfull vibe on the many bars down the streets and especially over the weekend nights it can get a bit noisy. So bring ear plugs if you wake up easily or are sensitive for that.

Espacio curioso y excelente ubicación

Pros: La ubicación es excelente ya que puedes ir a todos lados caminando, la terraza es muy bonita y da unas vistas geniales al centro histórico, todo el apartamento está decorado con muy buen gusto, es muy interesante como aprovecharon los espacios. La cocina está muy bien equipada. La anfitriona se mostró siempre pendiente y contestó de manera rápida y muy cordial. Fue nuestra primera vez en Cádiz y este espacio la hizo más especial.

Cons: Por la forma que tiene el edificio tiene muchas escaleras en caracol y se vuelve un desafio en momentos de mucho calor. Tanto el salón como la habitación tienen aire acondicionado pero por momentos se queda corto para el espacio dado el fuerte verano gaditano y si tienes que estar subiendo y bajando escaleras es un ejercicio de cardio importante el que terminas haciendo. Nosotros afortunadamente no tenemos problemas de movilidad pero se que sería un problema para personas mayores.

Man muss sich zurecht finden, dann ist alles fein.

Pros: Das Haus ist urig, die Lage gut, besonders die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse perfekt. Wenn nicht in den Straßen gefeiert wird (Fronleichnam), dann ist es ab Mitternacht ruhig. Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass es 5 Etagen sind und man sich organisieren muss- dann ist es sehr schön dort. In der Küche bis auf den Herd und die Töpfe (s.u.) alles prima. Der check-out war unkompliziert.

Cons: Die Kommunikation in Englisch ist sehr schlecht, einer der Gastgeber versteht die Sprache kaum, auch den Inhalt nicht, so dass schriftliche Absprachen nicht eingehalten wurden. Zum Check-in mehrfach niemanden erreicht. Die Tür wurde endlich fremdgesteuert geöffnet. Die Absprachen zu 2 Schlüsseln und 2. bezogenem Bett (Sofabett) wurden nicht eingehalten. Man würde dieses Sofabett nie aufbereiten. Zu 23 Uhr hatten wir dann alles und haben selbst das Sofabett bezogen. WLAN-Code mussten wir erfragen. Der Herd ist sehr alt und braucht seine Zeit zum Anheizen wie auch zum Abkühlen. Die Töpfe bräuchten mal eine Reinigung generell. Am Sofabett stand die Klimaanlage unabänderlich auf rot und es gab nur Kühlung von der herunterfallenden Kälte im Schlafzimmer (was ausreichte). Im Erdgeschoss läuft viel Wasser von der Straßenreinigung ein, auch gab es einen Käfer, aber nur unten.
