Hostal El Faro

Pros: Lovely view from the balcony, location ideal for the beach and town, comfy bed, great shower and a quiet street. Very friendly receptionist.

Cons: Bathroom was small but ok. Shower door and toilet seat could do with an upgrade.

Family run home from home close to beach

Pros: Excellent location- metres from the lighthouse and one of Chipiona’s two beaches ; 10 minutes walk from the pedestrianised centre of the town/ shops/ bars. Hotel housed in a traditional villa with original features. A supermarket 5 minutes walk away round the corner - very handy for buying snacks & bottled water . Rooms have a fridge - very useful . And air con is excellent ( and necessary ) . Staff incredibly helpful & obliging . I had some dietary requirements with breakfast & they were only too happy to help me .

Cons: My room was a tad on the small side ( small double bed) - but this is a v v minor quibble as you don’t spend a lot of time there anyway ! But to some people this may be an issue . Also my room on ground floor could be a bit noisy from other rooms / guests on the ground floor. But I always travel with ear plugs so not really an issue for me - again just be aware . The pros really do outweigh the cons for this property .

Pros: Room and included breakfast wee both good. Location excellent.

Cons: Car parking information should be clearer and better informed. On street parking is available but it is dependent on time of arrival. Car parking can be reserved but this is a 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Good value, great location and friendly staff

Pros: Excellent location in a nice neighbourhood, only a 100m from the Faro lighthouse and a lovely beach which stretches for miles. There is a wide variety of restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. Room was basic but comfortable and a complimentary breakfast came with the room.

Pros: The hostal is fabulously located close to the lighthouse and just a short walk from bars and restaurants. The room is a good size, the heating had been put on before I arrived so it was a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was very nice

Cons: The walls to my room were a bit thin so I could hear everything from the room next door. They were quite noisy even at 1am

Pros: Perfectly situated close to the seafront & beach, as well as amenities. Also great that I could park on site. Lovely & friendly & a bonus that breakfast was included!

Teanquilidad absoluta

Pros: La estancia fue muy agradable, el personal muy atento y mucho silencio y tranquilidad en todo momento. Solo un pero... en nuestra habitacion no llegaba el WIFI, aunque tan poco nos hizo falta, fuimos a desconectar de todo y lo conseguimos 😊
