Pros: A wonderful place with great views over the old town of Sanlúcar.

Charming place close to the bars and restaurants of the old town

Pros: Lovely friendly staff . A very charming interior and our room had an enormous bathroom . Location was really good with some restaurants and bars close by . The room was very clean and comfortable .

Cons: Nothing really .

Pros: The hotel was so much better than I expected. The room and toilet were huge in size. The decoration all over the place was amazing. Nothing is standard bulk. Love!

Pros: Fantastic breakfast, freshly squeezed orange juice & excellent choice of fruit, cereals, cold meats, cheese, sliced avocado & tomato. A good range of fresh bread to toast & lovely slices of cakes. A good range of coffees & teas. Breakfast served in an idyllic courtyard with fountain and plants. Hotel in the historic Barrio Alto near the castle, cool, comfortable with an abundance of Old World charm

Cons: It's quite a long walk to the beach 25 mins, lots of steps to climb on the way home

Pros: I had a truly wonderful stay at La Casa 1832 Boutique in Saluncar. The place has a beautifully preserved old-style charm that feels both authentic and stylish. Every corner of the property reflects thoughtful maintenance and a deep respect for its historical character, yet it still offers all the modern comforts you’d expect. What really made the experience special was the staff — incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Whether it was offering local tips, cold beer or just sharing a friendly smile, their hospitality was top-notch. If you're looking for a unique and cozy place with character and heart, I highly recommend La Casa 1832. It’s a perfect blend of elegance, history, and genuine service.

Cons: Just a small note: there was no trash bin in the room and we ran a bit low on toilet paper during our stay. Nothing major, and I’m sure it would’ve been sorted quickly if we had asked — the team was that friendly and responsive!

Wonderful old school charm!

Pros: This hotel offers old school glamour. It is Riad in style, the rooms we stayed in were enormous and beautiful, with huge bathrooms, double sinks, loads of hot water, the beds were really comfortable and it was simply rather marvellous. The walk down to the plaza was less than five minutes and the hotel is adjacent to the amazing castle.

Cons: If you are after a modern hotel with lifts, TV screens etc this is not for you.

Pros: Traditional feel, beautifully furnished, felt like a home. Lovely roof top sitting area with great views and perfect breeze

Cons: Poor air conditioning in the bedroom which blew a strong blast of very cold air at the bed. Room got hot and stuffy if turned off
