La Vista de Medina Studios & Apartments

Pros: Utterly charming place with beautiful gardens and my studio apartment had everything I needed. The hosts were helpful in ensuring I had a smooth stay and the location was sensational with far reaching views and easy walks all around this classic old hill top town. Parking is nearby and complimentary.

Cons: Don't come with a big car as some of the roads are nail bitingly narrow. I missed the intel re the restaurant not being open during my stay, would have liked to have had this option.

Lovely oasis in a stunning historic location with easy access to Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera, as well as lots to see

Pros: The location was spectacular and the apartment was part of a small hotel in pretty gardens at the top of the town with views down towards the sea. The decoration and furnishing was to a high standard.

Cons: The hot water to the sink was not connected and couldn’t be fixed while we were there. We were offered options, but the easiest work around was to boil a kettle. Our host, Kirsty was very apologetic about this and otherwise very friendly and helpful.

Great panoramic views .

Pros: Peaceful, lovely view, swimming pool, mature gardens.

Cons: Hard mattress, access to parking space was barely wide enough for a family car. The planting could do with a bit of maintenance

Our best stay in Andalusia so far!

Pros: Comfortable studio with amazing view. Nice bed. Real curtains that block the light.

Cons: The shower could be more closed so water doesn’t spill all over in the bathroom. Fridge quite noisy.

A great find. We will return here.

Pros: Very near centre, very quiet, mini kitchen was perfect. 25 yards to hotel car park. Pool was small but good. Staff were very helpful, allowed us access several hours early, for which we were very grateful.

Cons: The apartment was small (but ok for a few days). It's at the top of a very steep hill.

Pros: It was a lovely location, apartment, facilities etc. Honesty bar was a great idea and free WiFi too. Great loungers etc too. Beautiful views.

Cons: The pool could do with a little more cleaning and the apartment we stayed in could do with a curtain/blind on the big window. Other than that it was fantastic!

Pros: An oasis on a hill for my pareja and I. Ancient fruit trees providing lots of welcoming shade with lots of other amazing garden plants and shrubs. The cooling pool with relaxing loungers and parasols were just perfect. In a little shady corner the apartment was tranquil and cool, even when temperatures were 40C outside. The silent ceiling fans providing comfort with no need for air conditioning which was there if required. The apartment provided every facility you could need.The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely come again and after this comment I hope there is room for us in the future. Medina-Sidonia is a beautiful place.

Pros: The Suite we had was really large. It had a small kitchenette, comfortable sofa, table and 4 chairs and a Kingsize bed. All fixtures and fittings were very good quality and the soft furnishings a well. The bathroom was modern and clean.

Cons: We couldn’t get any hot water out of the shower or the taps. Even after leaving them to run for 5 minutes the water was still cool. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. The room was very light at night as there was no curtain covering the large doorway or the small window. What made it worse was there is an outside light, right outside the window which is on all night. The restaurant is closed (for refurbishment I think) it doesn’t say that in the advert nor on the information in the accommodation. We were a bit disappointed as that as one of the reason for choosing this accommodation

Pros: La ubicación, la limpieza, lo bonito que lo tienen y el personal en cuanto solicite cambio de toallas sin ningun poblema.

Cons: Se echa de menos un extractor y más estando todo en una sola estancia y algún utensilio más de cocina.
