Would happily return, loved Jerez and this was the perfect pied-a-tierre to enjoy this underrated gem of a town.

Pros: Location, right in the heart of historic Jerez. Beautiful old house, neat apartment with lots of room and external space on two sides. Immaculate, and mostly modern fittings inside, with everything you could need. Very private. Outside, artisan bakery on your doorstep, fab taberna downstairs with authentic tapas menu, and loads more choice just around the corner. Coffee, water and a wee bottle of fino as a much welcome gift.

Cons: The location is ideal if you want to be in the centre of Jerez life, however that can mean there’s a lot of noise in the street at night. Not ideal if you’re a light sleeper. Softer lighting would make for a warmer atmosphere, cool LEDs in a white room are very stark.

Superb property, in a spectacular location.

Pros: We received a warm welcome from our hosts, and the apartment was beautifully presented, complete with a couple of thoughtful gifts to make us feel at home.

Cons: The bathtub was quite slippery and would benefit from a non-slip finish, mat, or grab rail for added safety. A few basic toiletries would also have been appreciated, as well as the provision of some tea bags and milk.

Welcoming, easy and relaxing. A gem.

Pros: Great location in centre of city, easy walk to bars, shops etc. Sherry, coffee pods and water a nice touch, very welcoming. Apartment spotlessly clean. Would happily stay again.

Cons: Nothing I would change. Be aware if you are a light sleeper that there's a lot of street noise at the weekend due to the location. As a bonus for us we saw a semana santa procession from our balcony so it's not really bad at all!
