A very nice vacation
Pros: A lovely apartment in a beautiful square. The location is perfect , very close to the Cathedral square and the market square and about a 10min walk to the beach. The square is a busy spot and has everything you need, a small supermarket, a bakery, corner shops , an amazing ice cream shop and two tapas bars. There’s a small balcony with enough room for two to sit out on but lots of benches on the square.
Cons: The online check in process was difficult enough. The staff were helpful but I dislike having to give so much personal information out online , passport scans etc . It’s against GDPR regulations. We also paid extra for beach umbrellas and beach towels. The rental was quite expensive and I thought it would have been a nice touch to have beach umbrellas etc on hand at the property without having to pay extra. A nice spot though and a beautiful square.

Wonderful place with amazing views of the Plaza
Pros: Everything was excellent. The location was fantastic, the views outstanding and the place had everything we needed. A place to relax in the center of the city with all amenities, clean and comfortable. Easy to get in, fluent communication. Totally recommended!

Absolutely stunning apartment & well located
Pros: Absolutely stunning modern apartment, great facilities, superbe bathrooms/shower rooms, brilliantly decorated throughout. Lovely balcony, air condition in every room- great location. We came with our family of 6 and thoroughly enjoyed it highly recommend
Cons: Could do with larger frying pan or cooking dishes for larger family. Kitchen is great and has everything else (large oven, proper gas hob, etc) but tiny frying pan and just one large pot

Big modern flat in a great location with some downsides.
Pros: I liked the clean, modern flat and its location on a very lovely plaza. The decor was minimalist and bland. The kitchen had all the appliances I needed. The flat was well maintained, as was the building itself. The software that controlled the door locks was convenient but had some downsides. The management company responded quickly when we got stuck between the building's two exit doors. I was surprised at how quiet the flat was and I loved living in what is mostly a pedestrian area, with the convenience of a small supermarket on the plaza.
Cons: Having to drag my bags to the management company's office to pay the security deposit was a bad start. I was offered the alternative of 'virtual POS' but I didn't know what that meant. The management company was polite and impersonal. I was not allowed to come to the office until 15:00 even though I was available from 2 pm. I could have gone to the office a little earlier and done the paperwork so I could have accessed the flat at 15:00. I had filled out the required online form ahead of time. It was very time-consuming and difficult process but I understand that this is due to a new Spanish law. In general I felt irritated by the whole check-in process. The biggest problem for me was the smell in the flat. I assume it was coming from the sewerage system. I informed the management company but they did not engage. Other minor quibbles were: too many plastic plants; no essentials (such as tea, coffee, sugar, salt) in the kitchen; no scissors in the kitchen, the very large bowl of plastic apples and oranges on the dining room table that looked real in photos but very fake in real life.

Great apartment but needlessly complicated check in process and key system
Pros: Location, cleanliness and size of the apartment were all excellent. Despite being so central it was very quiet.
Cons: The administration and bureaucracy from the managing agents was overly complicated - downloading an App (Hoomvip - which was cumbersome) just to load a photo of your passport and then to take a photo of yourself, to then have to fill in an online check in form that asked for the same information already given in the App!, to the cumbersome and overly complicated locking system - no keys just virtual locks for the two front doors to the block and then the apartment. Twice the system failed and the door was wide open when we had clearly 'locked it' with our phones. The fact that a one minute video was sent to us (in Spanish!) to demonstrate how to lock/unlock the doors says it all! Had I known all this beforehand i would not have booked the apartment. Which is a shame because it is very nice. Booking.com should make this very clear before booking.

Nice apartment with balcony in centre of Cadiz
Pros: Good location in the centre of Cadiz. The balcony was really nice for sitting out on. The door is opened through a website which is very convenient when you are a group of six. The bathrooms were both nice, and the kitchen had anything you could need.
